Delaware registered agent requirements

• Physical Delaware address. P.O. Boxes are not accepted. Must be a street address where the agent is physically available during business hours.
• At least 18 years old. Minors cannot serve as registered agents.
• Delaware resident or authorized business entity. Individuals must be Delaware residents. Entities must be authorized to do business in Delaware.
• Acceptance of appointment. The agent must formally accept the appointment. Delaware rejects filings where the acceptance is missing.
• Available during regular business hours. The address must be staffed to accept Service of Process and official state correspondence.
