Restricted industries. We do not provide formation, registered agent, or ongoing compliance services to businesses engaged in cannabis or cannabis-adjacent activity, adult content, or firearms and ammunition. Filings identified as belonging to a restricted industry are routed to manual review and may be declined; where an order is declined, refunds follow the Penalty-free Guarantee Refund Policy. This list may change as our banking and partner requirements change, and material changes are announced as described under Updates below.
Scope. Acceptable Use Policy applies to all File.Business products and services: the Business Operation System (BOS), Compliance Subscription, one-time filings, BosAI, marketplace, partner program, API, and all related services.
Updates. We may update this acceptable use policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
